When Aaron discovered the note, he reportedly crumpled it up, threw it onto the floor, and left the apartment.<\/p>\n

But after having some time to cool down and think about what happened, his attitude changed. He eventually asked his mother what he could do to earn his privileges back.<\/p>\n

Johnson explained that the point was never actually to make her teenage son pay rent or cover all of his living expenses. Instead, she wanted him to understand how much everyday life costs and appreciate the effort behind the things he took for granted.<\/p>\n

He quickly realized that paying for rent, food, utilities, and other necessities was far beyond what he could afford.<\/p>\n
