Chuck Norris, the American martial artist and Hollywood action star, has passed away at the age of 86, according to his family.

He was widely recognized for his roles in the 1990s action crime series Walker, Texas Ranger and the 1972 martial arts film The Way of the Dragon, where he starred alongside legendary martial artist Bruce Lee.
His family shared the news “with heavy hearts” in a statement on Instagram, highlighting that he lived a life guided by faith, purpose, and a deep commitment to his loved ones. They added that through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Just days before his passing, Norris celebrated his 86th birthday on March 10, 2026, by posting a video of himself sparring on Instagram, famously quipping, “I don’t age. I level up”. Off-screen, he remained a devoted philanthropist through programs like Kickstart Kids, which uses martial arts to teach character development to youth.
